Resetting Epson printers with the SSC utility

The SSC Utility is an easy tool to reset the waste ink tank for your Epson printer. Due to a regular and frequent use and daily head cleanings the internal processing counter will show a message sometime that "several internal parts are out of maintenance time".
The LED on the printer are flashing alternately.

That means that you have to reset the waste ink counter to keep your printer running again. This procedure should be used only 2-3 times with your printer. Otherwise it could really happen that the waste ink tank will overflow.

Replacing the waste ink tank Small Epson printers is not possible as with large format printers or Epson Stylus PRO modells and Ricoh printers.
