How to Set-Up Continuous Ink System (CIS) in Epson T10, T11 and TX200

I posting tutorial installation Continuous Ink System ( CIS) in Epson T10, T11 and TX200 after there are question of visitor of this blog. This Tutorial can be used in Epson T10, T11 and TX200. Modify printer can cause printer error or damaged and cause warranty at your printer lose.
Step by step installation Continuous Ink Suply System (CISS) in Epson T10, T11 and TX200

• Turn off the printer, then move the cartridge carrier to the right side of the printer, and then take out the original cartridges.

• Use the screwdriver to remove the cover of the cartridge carrier. beware of when opening this cartridge cover.

• Push the cartridge carrier to the right side.

• Slide the cartridge under the bar, and take out the cartridges from right side.

• Move the cartridge carrier back to the middle position of compartment, in order to install the cartridges.
• Install the cartridge in their corresponding color position.

• Place the T shape adhesive pad on the middle position of compartment.

• Place the square adhesive pad on the left position of the printer.

• Attach the tubing between the T shape adhesive pad and square adhesive pad.

• Place adjust the tubing line, make sure the tubes are not twisted and are straight, with enough room to move back and forth freely with the cartridge compartment movement line.
• The installation is completed.

Troubleshooting Tips for Printer Using Continuous Ink System (CIS)

PROBLEM : If the ink tank is full of ink and the computer shows a message“Replace Cartridge” that the cartridges are empty. The printer keeps track of how much ink is being used and thinks that the cartridge should be empty so you will have to reset the cartridges chips.
SUGGESTION :

• method 1: Click on the stop key once, the chip is now reset!
• method 2: Turn off the printer for 1 minute and turn it back on.

PROBLEM : Banding or white lines in my print outs.
SUGGESTION : There is air in the system or cartridges. Try running a couple of cleaning cycles. If white lines continue, use the provided syringe to suck the air out of the bottom of the trouble cartridge and you can add the ink that fills the syringe back into the top of the CI system. (Make sure to thoroughly rinse the syringe when completed.)
PROBLEM : When I have completed a printing job the ink is siphoning backwards down the tubing.
SUGGESTION : The shipping plugs need to be removed before installing and replaced with the air breathers to eliminate any pressure being built up in the system, along with protecting the ink from contamination. Also the ink tank should be sitting on the same level surface as the printer. If the air breathers are covered with dried ink, you can rinse the air breather and dry thoroughly to regain use.
PROBLEM : The tubing is getting caught inside the printer resulting in an error message “paper loading error”.
SUGGESTION : If the tubing is not adjusted correctly, if it’s too short or too long causing it to slap the inside of the printer. Please adjust.
PROBLEM : After refilling the tanks the printer won’t print.
SUGGESTION : If the ink is added into the system too quickly, then it allows air to enter the system. Use the provided syringe to extract ink and air from the bottom of the cartridges. The ink that fills the syringe can be slowly added back into the top of the ink tank.
PROBLEM : After installing the CI system the printer does not recognize some of the cartridges.
SUGGESTION : Remove the cartridges, turn off the printer and reinstall the cartridges. Then you can continue printing.

This tutorial to reset waste ink in the printer canon i80. I not yet tried this tutorial, because this tutorial is I get from forum service printer. following step bt step to reset printer Canon i80 :

• Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer.
• While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button *.
• While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button **.
• While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button three times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons ***. During initialization, the LED blinks in green.
• When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the 4 times ***.
• Press the Power button. The LED lights in green, and the selected function is performed. When the operation completes, the printer returns to the menu selection mode automatically.
• Power off the printer and then back on and test.

Note :
* (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)
** (Don’t release the Power button.)
*** (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.)

How to Reset Canon Pixma iP90

Canon pixma iP90 released almost at the same time with canon Pixma iP 1880. Canon iP90 is printer with single function. Cartidges which used in canon Pixma iP90 is BCI-15BK, BCI-115C dan BCI-16C. Resetting procedure canon iP90 almost the same as manual reset canon iP1880. You can use combination of button in the printer to reset the printer.
Following step by step resetting canon Pixma iP90 :

• Before resetting printer canon iP90, start with printer power off .
• Press resume button coincide with power button.
• While pressing power button, release resume button.
• Press resume button 2 times and then release both button
• Green LED indocator will blinking and then stopped blinking.
• When the Power LED lights in green, press resume button 4 times.
• Press power button and the printer power will off. otherwise off, depress again power button.

Reset Counter Canon i250, i255, i350, i355. There two methods to reset waste ink counter pad in Canon i250, i255, i350, i355 printers that is reset manual and reset use software resetter (canon general tool). But my suggestion must using the both methods for permanent reset the Canon printer models.
The general tool version can be used to reset the Canon i250, i255, i350, i355 is version 0.05 (A1600/A1900) whereas for manual manual there are two methods. The Complete tutorial to reset waste ink counter for Canon i250, i255, i350, i355 printers follow the steps below:

Manual Reset for Canon i250, i255, i350, i355
Method 1 : Manual for service mode

• Unplug power cable from electric source and unplug USB cable from computer.
• Open the printer cover and hold power button.
• Connect power cable to the electric source.
• Close the printer cover then release power button.

Method 2: Manual for service mode

• Turn off the printer and then disconnect the printer cable.
• Press and hold the POWER button, turn on the printer.
• The indicator LED should be green.
• Press and release the RESUME button , the indicator LED should be orange.
• Press and release the RESUME button again, the indicator LED should be green.
• Release both buttons.

Resettting using software resetter canon i250, i255, i350, i355
This methods can be used only after manual reset.

• Reconnect the printer cable to electric source and to the computer. Then switch on the printer
• Download and Run General Tools/software resetter for Canon printers i250, i255, i350, i355 (the software can be downloaded from the link below).
• Then select USB PORT where your printer installed.
• Choose printer type in SET DESTINATION sections and printer should be reset.

Reset Counter Canon iP1500 and iP1000 using Software Resetter

On this post you can download software resetter for Canon Pixma iP1500 and Canon iP1000 and also you can follow tutorial reset method for the both canon printers below.
Reset method for canon pixma ip 1000 is  same as like  resetting canon ip1500 but using different software  resetter. There are two steps must be done to reset the both canon printer models; enter into service mode and resetting the counter on the printer. I have tried this reset method to reset counter on Canon iP1000 and work fine but I have not tried this on canon iP1500 because I don’t have this canon printer series.
Follow there steps to reset the both canon Pixma iP1000 and iP1500 printers :
Steps 1: Enter to Service mode

• Unplug power cable and USB cable.
• Open front case of printer and then press and hold power button.
• Connected cable power to elecric source then close printer cover and then release power button.

• Runt the software and select printer from USB port.
• Click the iP100 button for canon iP1000 In the SET DESTINATION sections and the printer should be reset.
• for Canon iP1500 select printer type in the set destination sections and then click main and platen button in the waste ink counter section to reset counter the printer.
• After resetting the printer turn off the printer and turn on again. To ascertain the printer have normal, use to print.
